At the very outset, there were the unavailable car rims

This statement makes clear how it came to the foundation of the Volker Schmidt GmbH (LLC) in 1985.

The motivation to establish the enterprise was that Volker Schmidt, being an enthusiastic tuning freak himself, simply could not find in the German market the products he desired.

Consequently, he got active by himself out of hand. And that decision proved to be a good one. Now, he works actively in the tuning field for already more than 20 years and still has new ideas that need to be put into action. These challenges he is prepared to meet in his enterprise also in future with pleasure.
